Our festivals are family fundraising events for the Drowning Prevention Florida Foundation. We celebrate every swimmer, teach water safety, and raise money for free and low-cost swim lessons.

Why we hold festivals

¿Para qué son los festivales?

Each festival is a night for the whole community. Families come to cheer, and everything they buy or give helps the Foundation reach more children before a tragedy happens.

Raise funds

Food, drinks, raffle tickets, swim gear and donations all go to the Foundation's drowning prevention and swim scholarship work.

Celebrate every swimmer

Celebrar a cada nadador

Some children have had one lesson. Others have trained for years. Every swimmer gets a medal, because we celebrate progress, not comparison.

Teach water safety

Prevention is about more than saving lives. A non-fatal drowning can leave lasting harm, so we teach families before an emergency happens.

Water Safety Showcase Festival 2026

Festival de seguridad acuática 2026

A fundraising night for the Drowning Prevention Florida Foundation that also celebrated the 46th anniversary of David's Swim School. Swimmers of every level showed their skills in the pool, received their medals on the awards podium, and finished the night with a supervised recreational swim.
